The Logistics Manager is responsible for managing all logistical requirements for ArabNet activities. It is a unique opportunity to work on organizing some of the region’s largest and most professional business conferences, attracting between 600-1000 delegates each.
The Logistics Manager will be expected to:
- Set the logistical requirements of each project and support in setting budget and implementation plan
- Research and keep record of all potential venues and assist in venue assessment, offer evaluation, negotiation, selection and relationship management
- Research and maintain list of contractors AV, exhibition construction, printing, food & beverage, transportation, and other suppliers in target markets
- Draft RFPs, manage communications with contractors, negotiate best offers and finalize contracts; coordinate the purchase of required materials
- Monitor contractor deliverables and performance and ensure quality control
- Arrange logistics for ArabNet participation in events and external activities
- Support with team logistics (travel, accommodation, etc) if required
This role reports to the Operations Director.
Ideal candidate would be/have:

Internship - European Council on Foreign Relations - France
The Policy Fellow will undertake research and develop analysis and recommendations on key political, socio-economic and security issues related to EU policies towards the MENA region. With a strong focus on policy innovation, they will be part of ECFR’s advocacy effort to build coalitions and develop relevant networks. This Policy Fellow in particular will build networks in the MENA Policy community in Paris, France and perhaps also in Brussels, Belgium; and will be expected to help oversee certain MENA Programme projects and activities including the work of specific Visiting Fellows.
