Quality Assurance Supervisor - Transmed - Lebanon

Description
- Ensure HACCP standards are implemented and follow the appropriate hygiene standards
- Implement storage regulations to protect product quality (Adjacencies, stacking height, etc.)
- Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of stores and adherence to safety and security procedure to achieve QA score
- Check and record production and expiry dates to ensure FIFO stock rotation is fully implemented
- Monitor and report expiry and near expiry date reports to concerned people
- Conduct regularly QA audit in the warehouse
- Inspect the quality of all incoming shipments to ensure they are in compliance with the required standards and in sound condition
- Segregate damages and for destruction stocks from sound stocks
- Prepare the adequate vouchers/documentation of damage stocks and make sure they are properly updated on the system
- Update the system regarding any new items or changes in any item
- Ensure that weight and CBM database are timely updated
- Prepare the adequate vouchers / documentation on stock adjustments

Requirements
- University Degree from a reputable University in Food Science, Food Safety, Chemistry, Biology or any related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Q.A. (experience in a warehouse is a plus)

Lab Technician - Almaza - Lebanon

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for laboratory’s basic tasks which include sampling, analyzing & recording of chemicals, microbial, visual, sensorial and maintenance activities. He / She also provides all the required technical support to enable the effective functioning of the Lab.

Responsibilities
- Performing regular controls and analysis in each production step, as per procedures.
- Executing the tests for research and development of new products.
- Checking the stock of lab chemicals and glassware.
- Monitoring the quality of raw and packaging materials.
- Executing the activities related to quality management systems.
- Participating in the laboratory machines calibration.

Skills
- Technical degree or bachelor degree in biochemistry, laboratory or equivalent.
- Good command of English, French is a plus.
- Good command of Microsoft Office.
- Accurate and meticulous, analytical thinker, has good planning and organizational skills.

Part Time Science Lab Technician in Anatomy and Microbiology - LAU - Lebanon

The School of Medicine has a vacancy for a Part Time Science Lab Technician in Anatomy and Microbiology in the Byblos campus.

Basic Responsibilities
In anatomy
- Cadaver embalming, preparation and maintenance of cadaver for dissection
- Preparing the anatomy & osteology lab. for students
- Supervision of student during lab. sessions
- Incineration of cadavers
- Other duties as required by the Anatomy teaching coordinator
In microbiology
- Keeping the laboratory stock and material in orderly and updated status
- Preparing the material for all the teaching laboratory session
- Assistance in teaching sessions and OSCEs.
- Other duties as required by the microbiology teaching coordinator

Qualifications
- BS degree in Biology from a renowned university or training as laboratory technician.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office tools
- Good administrative and managerial skills
- Excellent English (spoken and written) and good communication skills.
