Role Purpose
Ensure that the organization, coordination, and liaison between various business professionals is optimized to deliver designs equipped for manufacturing and providing cost-effective solutions to manufacturing-related problems.
Key Accountability:
- Direct the production team members and introduce efficient methods of production.
- Identify risk mitigation actions to reduce injuries, accidents, and hazards in the production environment.
- Mentor and develop new production engineers and/or supervisors.
- Design methods for maintaining or increasing production levels while improving production costs, yields, quality, and safety.
- Troubleshoot process problems and identifies solutions which reduce downtime and conserve maintenance costs.
- Monitor process equipment to identify potential errors and develops solutions to eliminate the re-occurrence of those problems.
- Design and conduct plant trials to determine performance capabilities.
- Develop and update process procedures to ensure that documentation is accurate and understandable.
- Determine the test methods, procedures, parts, and equipment needed to implement engineering changes.
- Determine the layout of piping, equipment, and utilities for engineering changes.
- Interface with all levels of management and employees to gather information and provide guidance for implementation.
- Ensure effective implementation of design practices to meet customer needs.
- Establish productive working relationships with engineering, planning, and design teams.
- Planning, determining, coordinating, and controlling the processes concerning to production
- Ensure that strong and efficient teamwork culture exists within the production team.
- Implement project schedules and plans in a timely effective manner.
- Direct various procedures to increase final outcome of the production zone.
Education& Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering from an accredited institution.
- MS Office applications
- Written and spoken fluency in English & Arabic languages
- Knowledge of complex mechanical or electro-technical drawings.
- Experience: 1/3 years in FMCG and/or related industry.

Market Planning Manager – Transmed - Lebanon
Transmed is looking for highly motivated and experienced Market Planning Manager. This job requires a lot of autonomy on day to day management of procurement activities but within targeted levels of inventories. Any deviations from targets should be shared with upper management and correction action plans developed to address the deviations. The candidate must be ready to work in a very challenging procurement environment due to increasing number of suppliers, product introductions, promotions and initiatives which require meeting contradictory objectives of high availability with minimal excess stocks.
Description
- Set the inventory bogey levels needed to protect Company sales targets
- Ensure that bogey levels are maintained at all times
- Ensure that remnant and excess inventories are kept at minimum level by taking swift actions with CBD and suppliers to reduce same to target levels
- Ensure product replenishment pipelines are prepared efficiently and submitted on time to all suppliers
- Ensure that placed orders are properly followed upon to minimize availability issues due to delays in supply
- Ensure forecast accuracy is continuously improved to meet Company target
- Implement corrective action plans to increase customer satisfaction
- Provide full support to multifunctional team through ensuring full participation of Customer service team in customer meetings to maximize efficiency
- Plan storage space and racking expansions to ensure storage space meets forecasted product arrivals
Qualifications
- University Graduate in Business / Economics / Finance / Industrial Engineering / Logistics from leading university and preferably with a master’s degree in supply chain management or any related field
- 10 years of experience in a similar highly professional FMCG environment with financial analysis exposure
- PC skills in Microsoft Office
- Proven record of planning, managing and controlling a similar environment

Optimization Project Leader - Holdal Abou Adal Group - Lebanon
This is an exciting and challenging new role within a successful Lebanese Group that is in the process of implementing an extensive Business Transformation Project (BTP) following a sustained period of healthy growth.
Based in Beirut, the Optimization Project Leader (OPL) will coordinate all the activities related to the BTP and will report directly to the Project Owner, the Senior Management Team and the Family Council.
The OPL will be expected to help the Chief Operating Officers (COOs) and remaining Senior Managers in conducting a deep review of the current support, distribution and retail operations to align them with HOLDAL’s 2020 vision.

Responsibilities
