Cloud 961 is hiring a full-time associate editor to fulfill the following tasks:
- Conducting editorial research
- Conducting interviews and covering events
- Developing content for features
- Writing articles and news-stories
- Organizing contributors' articles and features as well as developing outlines
- Following up with contributors and team members
- Editing articles for grammar, syntax, spelling
- Proofreading and standardizing structure
- Fact-checking
- Structuring and mapping out each issue
- Other tasks as required by the Editor in Chief
Desired Skills and Experience
- Excellent command of the English language
- Good command of Arabic and ability to translate to English
- Interest in technology and social media
- Journalism or related degree preferred
- Previous experience in writtenmedia (online, offline) and reporting is recommended
- Own a car (transportation is compensated)
