The Marketing Director will be responsible for overseeing all ArabNet’s marketing activities, including managing Partnerships (media), Creative, Marketing and Data departments (~10 employees). This is a senior management role reporting directly to the CEO, with the opportunity to develop into a CMO position as ArabNet grows. This is a unique opportunity to take a leadership role in rapidly growing company with a regional scope of activities.
The Partnerships Department manages barter relationships across media (TV, radio, print, online - valued at $1M+ of exposure annually), as well as PR / media relations, and university relations.
The Marketing Department plans and implements marketing activities, including the creation of all content / copy for ads across media, as well as community management (social media, influencers, bloggers, etc).
The Creative Department produces all design and multimedia content, including the design of all advertising (across media), print materials (conference catalogue, ArabNet Quarterly Magazine), on-site branding, and video material for ArabNet events.
The Data Department manages ArabNet’s database of 20,000+ industry executives and professionals, implements CRM driven campaigns, produces insights and reporting on ArabNet event attendees, and handles all delegate relations and issues.
Ideal candidate would be/have:
- Significant experience in marketing, including both creative and media; experience in marketing at a leading brand preferred
- Proven ability to manage teams, especially teams of younger employees
- Team player, flexible, adaptable – works well in a startup environment
- Well-organized and detail oriented
- Decisive and able to handle significant responsibility
- Able to work well under pressure
- Creative thinker
- Senior Level: 7-10 years of experience
- Fluent in English and Arabic
