ArabNet is looking for a digital-savvy person responsible for communications, social media, events, and content creation for its online channels.
While every day as a Community Manager is different, this is what the responsibilities include:
- Creating, managing, monitoring and moderating ArabNet social media channels, campaigns, and strategies, and growing the company’s presence
- Content creation - writing blog posts, communications and social media material
- Nurturing engagement, making sure questions consistently have a quick response
- Incorporating online tools and in-person networking to create relationships with influencers and ultimately build the company’s brand, both online and off
- Attending industry and community events and planning meetups for our community
- Monitors discussions, resource postings, and trends within the community
- Identifying trends / topical market research
- Working closely with Head of Marketing to develop online engagement strategies, campaigns, and social media messages
Before taking a look at the overall job description, make sure you have these traits:
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic
- Personality, no community likes talking to a robot
- Patience and a sense of humor
- Passion about ArabNet and the digital world - passion is contagious, and we want our community to capture that energy from its manager
