The Business Development Department is responsible for building new business relationships and managing sales for ArabNet’s conferences and activities. This is a unique opportunity to get a high-level view of the major trends in the digital sector, and a broad understanding of the movers and shakers who are shaping the web and mobile industry across the region. It is also a chance to connect with large technology companies and key players, and understand how commercial relationships are built and how deals are closed.
The Business Development team mainly deals with Sponsors and Exhibitors at ArabNet’s events across the sales cycle – from establishing new leads, pitching or calling clients, creating tailored offerings, negotiating to close the deal, following up to ensure smooth implementation, and maintaining important client relationships over the long-term. The role will require extensive travel – up to 50-60% of the time.
