- Maintains a satisfactory and detailed daily record of all events on the site and submits a Daily Site Report to the Project Manager.
- Ensures the progress of the installation works is carried‐out in accordance with the approved installation schedule / program.
- Supervises and monitors the execution of all working procedures on site.
- Generally oversees the installation of the works, assists where necessary and 'trouble‐shooting' any problems that may arise, either with the installation itself or the running of the site operations.
- Prepares details and coordinates with the Project Manager to solve the imminent site technical issues and problems.
- Approves all Site Personnel Weekly Timesheets.
- Ensures that the Foreman’s adequately handles, supervises and coordinates all labor, materials, equipment and plant, etc. on site.
- Coordinates on daily basis with the Main Contractor’s representatives and attendance at any site meetings, i.e. progress, health and safety, coordination if required.
- Coordinates On‐ site with any other sub‐contractors with whom the works may interface.
- When works onsite are physically delayed by external parties, ensures that the Project - - Manager is aware of such a delay by means of a short written memo.
- Maintains an up‐to‐date set of shop drawings onsite and general maintenance of all drawings held in the Site Office.
- Prepares together with the Foreman the Material Delivery Schedules.
- Insures that site surveys are done by the surveyor in a timely manner.
- Coordinates between Glassline offices (production/delivery) and the site.
- Organizes transport / deliveries / storage areas for in the most cost effective manner (on & off‐site).
- Reports any non‐conformance’s of delivered goods, services or materials. Ensures the necessary corrective works will then be enforced.
- Organizes with the Foreman agreed storage or 'lay‐down' areas on site for delivered materials.
- Enforces the company Safety Policy and makes sure all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) is worn at all times.
- Whenever required attends “finished works” inspections, partial/preliminary handing over inspections attended by the Employer’s representatives.
- Ensures finished works are suitably protected from damage at all times.
- Maintains good house‐keeping on site and enforces Glassline rules regarding appropriate storage of materials, tidy work areas, disposal of packing materials, etc.
- Accepts work areas from the Main Contractor, arranges labor, materials, plant, tools, consumables, etc. to work in those areas.
- Assists in any necessary on site testing and assists the test consultants if necessary.
- When required, general assistance to the Project Manager.
- Assists the Project Manager in the Preparation of the Monthly Site Report

- Mechanical or Civil Engineer
- Fresh or up to 2 years experience
