Job description
- Word of Mouth Marketing: develop programs with grassroots marketing to increase friends/drive traffic up from Facebook and other social networks.
- Mobile Marketing: Launch mobile text campaigns.
- Determine effectiveness of campaigns and make recommendations to the team.
- Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activates. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, online contest/competitions, promotions, etc.
- Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into social applications as needed.
- Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media tactics, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
- Regularly feedback insights gained from social media monitoring into the Marketing teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion.
- Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications.
- Case studies documentation.
Desired Skills and Experience
- At least 1 year of digital marketing experience.
- Must be passionate about digital marketing.
- Must know basic HTML, Photoshop, illustrator and be adept in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Calm, positive, and professional demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all types of personalities.
- Must be highly organized and capable of developing and keeping to a project timeline.
- Successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment while juggling multiple tasks and priorities.
- A creative approach to social strategy
- Understanding of paid and organic social strategy
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
