Masar association is recruiting a full time Program Assistant for one year, starting immediately as of date of signing contract. The Program Assistant will be reporting to the Executive Director.
Masar association works in the field of Development with a focus on youth. Through this focus, Masar works on 2 levels in parallel: at the community level, through its Community Youth Development (CYD) program, and at the policy level, through the Youth Advocacy Process (YAP/ www.yap-lb.org) and the Youth Forum for Youth Policy (www.youthforum-lb.org).
S/he will be responsible of the following tasks:
- Coordinating specific projects’ activities as per given guidelines;
- Designing social media campaigns, administering and updating various social media platforms;
- Designing reports, newsletters, booklets, posters, info-graphics, etc;
- Updating the websites operated by the association;
- Attending specific projects meetings and taking minutes when requested;
- Preparing logistics for workshops and other activities;
- Contributing to administrative work when need be.
Applicants’ academic and Professional Qualifications:
- A Bachelor in graphic design and/ or social sciences or other related fields;
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience; experience in the NGO sector is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Personal Attributes:
- Good computer application skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, web design or equivalent design software;
- High knowledge of social media; showing work on social media campaigns is requested.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational and team work skills;
- Good cultural awareness and sensitivity;
- Very Good command of English;
- Very good writing skills in Arabic and English;
- Good knowledge of the NGO operations and its dynamics;
